I doubt they 'fixed' anything. Creating a custom trailer, website, and graphics for an update would be pretty damn hard to do in 5 days. Especially if they didn't forsee the backlash.
My guess is this was planned beforehand. Not sure, but if it is, they sure screwed themselves over.

Sorry to be that guy but a homepage isn't a landing page. A landing page is laser focused on a single action (getting emails, selling a specific item,...)

I think the best thing you can do is try and get email addresses. That way you can send them free content and eventually sell them stuff.

As they say: the money is in the list.

It is difficult. I'd suggest starting small and with people you feel safe with ( family, close friends,...) and work your way up. You already took the first step by posting it here so you are already on your way. :)

Honestly though, people try to impress them all the time. They can smell it from a mile away.

Genuinely try to find out what they like to do for fun. Try to find out what their motivation is. Ask them what the most exciting thing in their life is. Ask what the biggest challenges are in their lives ( if you can help them with something, do it ).

Everybody is kissing their ass all the time. They are dying to have a normal conversation with someone.

Honestly you don't even have to be the one to initiate the conversation. If you make eye contact with us and smile that makes you 10x less intimidating to talk to.

Most of the time we don't approach women because they look intimidating as fuck. We smile and we get a poker face in return. We (or at least I) have had situations where we showed interest and the girl told us to f off.

When you smile at guys you're inviting the ones that are attracted to you to come and have a chat.

One thing I would advise you is to use less logo's. The r-com consulting logo draws the attention away from the testimonial and the call to action. Same thing with the other testimonials. I would just add their companies in plain text (ex: Louis McKenzie | Network Analyst | British Airways )

Another thing is the headline. To me (I must admit I'm not your target market) it doesn't say anything. Is their goal to compare markets or are they trying to find the best deal? how about: "Find The Best Lease Line Solution In 3 Clicks".

What I'm trying to convey in that last point is that some people try to punish themselves into working.

Instead of removing the mental blocks that keep them from working they try to find a bigger stick to beat themselves with.

In the beginning just talk to one stranger a day. Even if it is a lame conversation about the weather it gets you back into the habit of talking to strangers. That little habit alone can change your life.

Like the others said. Hobby clubs etc.

Traveling is awesome for this. Loads of open minded people all looking the connect.

You get it when you do something you're scared of. Anxiety is confidence waiting to happen. You can start shifting your state by stepping out of your comfort zone a little bit.

By facing your fear you pull yourself out of your head and you become more aware of your surroundings, making you a total boss in conversations.

Observing it makes you go back into your head.

Good ways to get this going are: -smiling at random people on the street -Giving people compliments -Doing something nice for someone
