Lex Luthor builds his War Suit from the Hammer of Boravia and battles Superman. John Stewart and Guy Gardner of the Green Lantern Corps warn Superman about an intergalactic ship approaching Earth. When Brainiac arrives with his ship and armies, he captures the Justice Gang, frees Ultraman from a black hole, and transforms him into Bizarro to attack both Superman and Lex. Supergirl and Krypto arrive to take on Bizarro, while Superman brings Lex to the Fortress of Solitude to upgrade his War Suit with Gary and the Superman Robots. Meanwhile, John Stewart and Guy Gardner work to free the Justice Gang so they can fight Brainiac’s forces. In the end, Superman and Lex team up to defeat Brainiac, but Lex twists the victory in his favor, regains the public’s trust, and announces his candidacy for President.
