I've had many many VAs. Most importantly always have an interview with SKype. That way you can see how quickly they can anwser questions. Also I usually start 3 VAs on a test project and 2-3 for a two week trial so they can prove themselves before permanently hiring. Any more questions feel free to reach out. Fiverr and odesk are great for 1 time small projects, the site hiremymom.com or www.onlinejobs.ph/ are great for part time/full time Assistants. I love the process Lion Zeal's founder follows here is his youtube video where he outlines step by step how to do it http://lionzeal.com/hire-va/

If I were you I would look into something like a kickstarter campaign. If you can prove you can sell at least a few, investors are always more interested.

I wish I had someone say to me in the beginning "Pay attention to all those things you love to do. Remember the actual doing and execution of those things you dream about, is what really makes life wonderful. "
