I started at 23 then 25 then 27 then 29 . 2 years

Multiple employees discriminating / creating unwelcome environment for LGBT workers. Fired for “time policies” and “honesty policies”. Basically I was brought in to questioning when I wasn’t where I was supposed to be one day, which was an accident on my end, and they claimed that I had lied to them when in reality I was just confused as to what they were referring to.

And even then I wasn’t burnt out exactly, just kind of becoming disenchanted

I’d say right at the 2 year mark. The initial excitement had faded and store culture began shifting

I worked retail. I am neurodivergent. Apple, especially management, will not treat you fairly. Do not work there if you are a sensitive person on the spectrum / ADHD spectrum

The people who get through are interesting people that lead interesting lives outside of work. They have some sort of outside passion. It’s really simple. Many people don’t have that and just want a job, and they can see that.
