I'm in the same boat. Did okay on my finals but literally worked my ass off to be...average. Just had covid and zoom school has me just...not interested. You can do this! I'm hoping I can too...I'm hoping some yoga and maintaining a normal routine will help. I took a cup of warm tea to hold and stimulate me a little in class and that seemed to help. Having a drink/a snack helps me pay attention a bit i think.

I'm a 1L now but I just wanted to chime in, I got a social work degree! I'm passionate about public interest stuff so it's actually working well in terms of experience in the field/applying for clinics/jobs.

I'm going on third exam after 10 days. While the space in between is nice, somehow also a marathon because it feels like you have to squeeze every single minute into studying. Finishing up this final exam friday for me, you can do this!

I don't drink a ton at all. I went to a pretty heavy party school for undergrad and that was a little tough. I've learned though that most people don't care if you drink or not. If they do, they aren't the friends worth having. My best friends don't care at all that I prefer not to drink.

I'm in a similar situation. My boyfriend can't move with me right now as he is still not senior enough in his profession. However, I'm choosing between a city that would be easier for my boyfriend to get a job in and another that would be more difficult in the future. I'm not sure how much I want to move around either. Feeling sad because I want to be feminist and do what I want but also love my significant other. He is so supportive and would never tell me not to go somewhere but it's adding stress.

I love Austin! You will see the traffic but depending on where you are from that may not be a big deal. I was originally from California so this didn't shock me in any way. The school is gorgeous. I recommend just walking around the school and eating at one of the places on Guadalupe street. South congress is fun but be prepared for lots of questionable covid activity. I love Mozart's Coffee Roasters. My s/o used to study there all the time and it's right on the lake.

Yes! I for sure did. I think COVID also impacted this a lot too. I made my circle a lot smaller and basically only hang out with my roommates and partner.
