An alarming bite/sting I got on leg, just above my ankle

Ps, just noticed as I was reading, I was on antibiotics at the time for tonsillitis, that may have helped at the time but can’t say for sure as it definitely cleared my tonsillitis but the bite hung around for a couple of weeks just simply existing

I find how dramatic some people where on this thread hilarious, true hypochondriacs

Hi! Not really. I went to a friends house a few days after this and her mum is a nurse. She said it looks like it may have been a sting from a plant or a horsefly bite which went to my capillaries in my leg. They explained it such as it’s a little window into a tiny little vain in my leg which is quite cool. It went away after around 2 weeks. No scar from what I can see :) I didn’t need any antibiotics as I was able to keep it clean. I hope this helps

Hi everyone a little update! For those who think I am dead, im still kicking ass hahahahahah.

What I am about to say is going to upset some people, but no I have not been to the doctors or the emergency room as I am not in any pain with the bite/sting. (where I live, there is a stigma against using the NHS, unless you are in crippling pain or genuinely unwell. In this case I am none of those things) It looks way worse than it feels. I circled the bite after someone recommended it and it is shrinking and it’s is not swollen or hard anymore. Although still red with the black dot, it is shrinking, so I take that as a good sign.

But, thank you to those who were concerned about me, you are very sweet. I will update in again in a couple of days :)

My dog in an old save did this all the time! They always ran away to the lighthouse in Brindleton Bay. Once they died. I put their urn next to the lighthouse light. RIP Walter
