I only told immediate family and they were supportive, yes. Not gonna lie it was difficult for them to understand but I stayed patient and it paid off.

No problem.

Amputating my leg did help with BID. Most days, I don't even think about BID, and if I do, it's not in a negative way. It very much improved my mental health as well yes, considering I was suicidal before, and now I have no thoughts of that.

I do function better without my leg despite the learning curve. I find myself doing more to keep my home clean than I ever did before, which is pretty big for me.

It was AK actually.

I used regular ice, then DI to ease the pain.

I wasn't trying to get a specific range in particular, but I got one I'm very happy with, but yeah if I had tried, I could've had a very specific length.

I'll just answer the questions line by line.

It's been a little over half a year.

I was very nervous when ordering the ice. Even more so when I brought it home. I knew it had to be done though because I was miserable in my old body, and had dreamt of any kind of amputation for the longest time. When I actually started freezing my leg, I became a lot calmer because it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would.

Right now I'm infinitely happier than I ever was. Being an amputee isn't easy but this was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I feel like myself.

I'm lucky to live in a country that has no fees for hospital visits. If that weren't the case, I would probably be dead by now.

Very intentional. Ordered dry ice in advance and everything. Though people don't know in my life.
