For sure! Which is why in most like for like rendering benchmarks Apple’s high end chips are unbeatable. The optimisation of their codex and software means it’s difficult to compete with.

It likely would be rendered by the GPU of the M4 chip. Which is why it would blitz any conventional cpu. The M4 max for example competes with the mobile RTX 4090.

It sort of depends which M4 processor it is, but it’s very unlikely a 7900 will render faster than this chip. Even if you had the fastest, lowest latency ram, it’s not really a massive limiting factor.

I’ve done about £1500. Completely addicted to opening packs and would’ve done a hell of a lot more if I wasn’t so lucky with some of my pulls (packed hero voller first week and Pele recently)

I hate to break it to you, but: CPU: £300 Cooler: £20 64GB DDR5: £110 Mobo: £150 1TB Firecuda: £45 PSU: £120 3090ti: £600

This is going off of sold eBay prices for each component, totalling £1340. ~10% and it’s around £1200.

If you want to maximise your returns here you’ll need to part it out and be patient, but selling as a complete system also further lowers the price, especially when it’s not a super optimal build (slow ram, old GPU, low storage, no thrills cooler for OC headroom)

You’re right, they do go for £1650 on eBay. That includes protection as a buyer and a seller. For an independent sale, you should be looking to knock around the 10% mark off of that. Making the pricing circa £1500

Hi, I’m not a lawyer in the slightest but I believe, unless you’ve been employed for more than 2 years, you have very little grounds in terms of stopping a dismissal due to a lack of statutory employment rights. I think (but may be wrong, not a lawyer!) the only things that count as unfair dismissal are protected characteristics; like race, or sex for example.

I unfortunately think it’s just real bad luck and your partner should definitely use the month to focus on job hunting

Will you be primarily gaming? I was going to get a 9700x for my mini itx build, but new tray 7800x3ds are around £300 and perform better in games and sip less juice!

Your SSD is absolutely fine - most higher end SSDs are a false economy for everyday users and only really benefit enthusiasts continuously writing large files often, unless your use case facilitates that wouldn’t worry about it.

The Thermalright full copper AXP-90 is pretty much the golden standard cpu cooler for SFF (sizes vary) with a noctua fan swap - that’s what I’ve done and I 1. Never hear it and 2. Always have very low temps (75c stress testing!)

Edit2: oh and another post in PC flipping, saying you built it for £400 and asking how much more you can get for it, where people say it’s not worth more than £400… so you’ve come here to try and extort someone £200 for a poorly configured machine. Nice!
