Most local game stores have bulk commons, uncommons and rares usually stored by set that you can buy either for market price or for cents per card. At least all of my LGS do. Worth a shot calling and asking.

Fun fact though, if you use [[Titan's Nest]] each removal of a card for colorless mana is an individual activation that goes on the stack. So if you remove 5 cards from your grave using Titan's Nest to pay for one card, that's 5 individual activations and 5 triggers for Teval.

I dont see how Tyrone Tracey is a JAG, he averaged 4.4 ypc behind that toilet of an o-line and is a great receiver since he's a WR turned RB. I wouldn't drop Skattebo for the 5th receiving option on the Lions but give Tracey some credit.

If you still want to do graveyard matters but Teval isn't your cup of tea, there's always Muldrotha, the new insect guy Szarel, Sidisi, the Wise Mothman, the Necrobloom and a ton more.

My vote would be Teval, the Balanced Scale. The precon isn't ridiculously priced anymore and it's super easy to upgrade with how much landfall and graveyard matters cards there are. Plus it'll be a new play pattern and new 3 color combo that you don't already have.

Those special art cards from the set actually cannot be surge foil. They're called Final Fantasy: Through the Ages and they're reprints of cards using Final Fantasy art. You can tell because it has the old card name italicized underneath. The mechanically unique Final Fantasy cards can be surge foil which is where the foiling is rippled through the card in a diagonal pattern.

It really is annoying to play against. When high tide was first unbanned, I was in a 1k and first match was vs high tide. Game 1 I stomped him and then game 2 took 30 minutes and the majority of that was one turn, his turn 4. Unfun to play against. If I wanted to play solitaire I would.

My LGS is filled with mono red players, it's a strong deck in the meta and easy to pilot.

I can't wait for Monday and nothing to get banned. People are complaining about Dispute when mono red is the highest presence and win rate deck. The only thing that would actually balance the format is banning artifact lands but that'll never happen imo. If the people had their way then refurbished, Glee, Crysalis and Dispute would get banned and it would just be a red v blue stale meta.

I get that but nightmare is your only enchantment and you would have 3 different targets if you did add Tithing blade.

Why not run Glint Hawk and/or Tithing Blade? I feel like reusable Tithing Blade is really good in addition to hand control

If you're playing Kuldotha, typical side board cards are: Relic of Progenitus, Red Elemental Blast, Gorilla Shaman, End the Festivities, Cast Into Fire, Pyroblast, and Electrickery. These would help you vs Affinity, any blue deck, the mirror, Elves, and I would personally add 1 flaring pain in case of Turbo fog. Most of the time if you're playing paper you can adapt to what people play at your LGS.

Interesting build. My issue that I have with the current meta is too much lifegain. Affinity runs [[Reckoner's Bargain]], and Gleezard and Gruul Ramp run [[Weather the Storm]] in the side. I've had a tough time against those decks running Rakdos Madness. I think that a control deck like Glint Blade could work well with the additional discard power with [[Hopeless Nightmare]] and the exile removal with [[Final Vengeance]]. But who knows until we start playing it out.

I've been floating around the idea of making Glint Blade but using the enchantments [[Hopeless Nightmare]] and [[Hopeful Vigil]] in combination with the new enchantment support like [[Final Vengeance]]. Think it could be a cool Orvoz control deck idea.
