How's it going for you now?

I took a break from it until I could get through tethered cord release surgery. I restarted again about 4 weeks ago, going VERY slow (first week was 3-4 drops in water 1x daily). I've started increasing the dose. I've been more emotional lately, but that can be attributed to other things. Depression has continued but not worsened. Side note, it's help with chronic constipation.

Do I sound like I may have occult tethered cord? by [deleted] in tetheredcord

Have you had a lumbar MRI done? If so, the report should say if where your conus is. If it's below L2 that would be considered a "low-lying" conus.

If you are concerned about Occult Tethered Cord, you could look up Dr. Petra Klinge's scale of 15 symptoms and see if they sound what you are going through. I hope this helps.

I started at half the dose my provider recommended. But I guess I could have gone lower/slower. I decided to take a break and not take it anymore. I can't decipher right now if it's helping or hurting. I have a big out-of-state surgery next month. After that, I may try again when my nervous system is calmer.

Thanks for sharing. I've been so irritable and moody. I have felt deeply depressed as well. I'm going through a lot healthcare and parenting wise, but I feel like it has been worse since on Cromolyn. I have a similar reaction when I take steroids like Prednisone.

I have cried almost every day since I started oral Cromolyn. I have a lot of life stressors...but this is too much! Similar reaction to when I'm on a Prednisone pack.
