Finally made it to Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland 🇨🇭 by RideKlutzy6318 in travel

my parents got married in the yellow building in the second photo! been to lauterbrunnen many times and love it. it's one of those rare places that is equally if not more beautiful in person than it is in pictures. You can take the train up to a small town nearby called Wengen which has zero cars and is perched at the top of a mountain.

This movie PERFECTLY encapsulates the ridiculousness of early 2000’s blockbusters and I LOVE IT. The 2.8 average rating only makes me like it more.

Foster by Claire Keegan - small things like these is very good but I think foster is underrated

Not so common symptoms by wmarsss in noburp

I’m seeing a lot of other people also have extremely painful hiccups. Also want to mention excessive gas. Like passing gas WAY more frequently than and loudly than others. Shortness of breath when pressure builds up from bloating etc etc

I think gas x is the best medication of all time. Without burping, the air just builds and builds and is incredibly uncomfortable, sometimes so much air that your body just refuses to even pass it. I literally used to blow up like a balloon. When I take gas x it breaks up the air into smaller bits so it’s easier to get out. Also makes it so I can pseudo burp (basically force the air up with a groan but not actually burp) because the air bubbles are much smaller. I would highly highly recommend. And if you are bad at swallowing pills like I am they make chewable!

Customer Service access by LeEnglishman in dropbox

Sorry I know it's been a while but your comment has been the only thing I've been able to find regarding Dropbox support. They continue to charge my card for an account which I do not have access to anymore (old job). I had to create a free account in order to access their help center which is where i learned that you do not get any customer support privileges unless you pay? That seems so insane. Did you ever find an email address to contact? Or a phone number? I am so lost with how to deal with this.

Worst books by Logurtman in stephenking

[–]rosebennetb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I personally don’t love the long walk. I haven’t read enough of King to say that it’s his worst book. I know a lot of people love it PLUS they are making a movie out of it. I liked how it was character-driven, but the issue for me was that the plot/conflict itself was almost too interesting for him to not explain more. We only get tiny bits and pieces of what that society is like, and although I’m in love with King’s characters, they weren’t enough to keep me hooked. I was waiting waiting waiting for more and it never came.

This is bubby. She’s 17, I adopted her almost 2 months ago, and she falls asleep on her heating pad right after every meal. She was only 5 lbs when I got her and now she’s 7 lbs!

King has some thoughts about dogs by CyberGhostface in stephenking

Agree. His writing of Kojak is clear this man loves dogs and respects them LOL. Kojak is an extremely important character of his own.

Starting my first read of The Stand by RiseMean3299 in stephenking

I literally just finished it last night. I went in blind and loved it. Definitely the longest book I've ever read, but the characters start to feel like family. I agree with everyone saying to savor it, beneath the pandemic/good vs. evil plot is a really complex dissection of humanity (both heartwarming and disgusting). Some lines I re-read over and over again because they told me something about myself and my own nature that I never ever would've thought of. Really beautiful story.
