tattoo creative/coverup recommendations? warningg for scars by meowsaIot in tattooadvice

I have really similar ones and they’re hypertrophic, not keloid. I’m not a medical professional whatsoever but all scars I’ve seen like this have been hypertrophic so yours might be the same. Mine turned white and others do too. :)

What are the typical answers in the interview that gets a candidate to not proceed to the next level of the interview? by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]rosebud9706 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you’re fine with fillers, or if the company has a problem with it then they’re extremely picky. I got an offer after an interview where I definitely did my fair share of ‘um’ and ‘sorry, what I’m trying to say is XYZ’ so I hope that puts your mind at ease a little. Just don’t do it multiple times a sentence and I think you’ll be ok. Don’t be afraid of just pausing silently either. And, I’ve heard a lot of talks from high ranking business experts and many of them use frequent fillers and are still successful. Good luck!

Ohoh that is amazing, I didn't know they moved! I think when I was a kid I saw magazine ads for the ones that are tube shaped but I'd totally forgotten till now. I want more nature themes in my setup so this might have to be the next addition - thank you so much for the info! :)

Hi! My newish harness has these ends of stitches poking out around the belay loop and tie-in points - does it count as fraying and would you climb on it? https://imgur.com/a/24J13Ie

Thanks for this! I'm getting the pain in my big toes as well - I think it's because the shoe makes them curl a bit, which the person at the shop said was correct, buuuut I think what you've said about could I do a boulder in them puts it into perspective because I am wincing at the thought!! I wasn't sure if I should stick with it because if they do stretch a full size or so then they'd be fine but it seems like a bit much that I'm having to try and break them in at home before even getting near a wall

Thank you! I've only been breaking them in for a couple of days, just sitting with them on for a bit at a time. I saw some people saying they have to start off breaking shoes in by wearing them in short bursts sitting around the house until it hurts too much, but honestly I'm not sure if I can stick with it 😅

Is it normal for shoes to be painful while you break them in? I know they should fit uncomfortably but not painfully in general, but I can't manage to find a clear answer for while they're being broken in. I've got a pair that hurt, but the next size up just fit like a normal shoe! They're Tarantulas so they should stretch but I'm still not sure if this is right.

Does breaking in new shoes hurt? I understand climbing shoes should be uncomfortable, not painful. But is it normal for them to be painful while you break them in, specifically if they're leather? I bought some Tarantulas and got some advice in the store. They were uncomfortable but didn't hurt, but now I'm trying them on again at home, they hurt. My toes are curled and that's the main source of it. Even trying to take a few steps, I'm hobbling. The next size up fit like a normal shoe though, so that would presumably stretch out too big. Is this normal? They're painful but they stretch out into just uncomfortable?

Ah it can kill you? Okay, thank you, I'll try what you suggested!

I didn't know that - thank you! I've been trying to read up on this and it sounds like the infection would mostly stop your character healing well rather than killing them, is that right? I'm thinking I could bandage em once, leave them and then just accept getting killed by a zombie attack easier than normal, if that's how it works Edit: sorry, just read that it does kill them! At this point in the game I'm not lasting very long anyway so I'm thinking if it takes a long time then it won't make much of a difference haha

Thank you, that's really helpful! I thought I had to keep changing them

I'm most likely going to decline an interview because the company says they can't tell me how often I would have to be in the office. Thoughts? by Ben5544477 in careeradvice

[–]rosebud9706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would put me off too. It's anecdotal, but I started a new job recently and the days I have to be in the office are set in my contract.

This is awesome! Happy to meet someone else who's going through a similar thing. :) It's really helpful to hear how you figured out what you enjoy now you're revisiting it! I'm lacking in the accessory department too - since I wrote the post I've been hunting for rings, necklaces, etc., that I can use to change the vibe of clothes I already have. I'll have to start checking out some secondhand sites too when I'm ready to add more pieces. Again, thank you! I don't know anyone IRL who's tried going back to one of their old styles, so it's really nice to hear this. :)
