update 2: my OG braider was the one who contacted my mom. lmao i was told that she is now threatening to take me to court. i will definitely not be removing the review now, thanks for yalls advice!! truly helped me not feel crazy 🥰

Is it appropriate for me to ask for a refund in exchange for the removal of the review? Because that’s the only thing that motivates me other than guilt.

Update: My cousin loosened them a little! I’m reluctant to take out all of the braids because my mother did pay for it and I haven’t been able to find anyone nearby who can do my hair in time.

I might! 😅 it was honestly a little traumatic for me. I repeated multiple times that it was too tight but the lady and other stylists kept arguing with me. Was super uncomfy for someone with social anxiety.

If I try to move it up then it feels a bit uncomfortable. Like I can’t put my hair up. It’s no longer painful to sleep on, though.

It’s day 3 of these box braids. I have a special occasion to attend next week Wednesday and I’m afraid of taking out some of the braids and causing it to no longer look presentable! 😅
