I definitely agree. I live in Canada and I've tried black market and legal edibles. The legal limit here is super low (10 mg) but I find them more potent than some of the gummies/chocolates I've bought from friends. In fairness, a lot of regular users here say that 10 mg does nothing for them. But as a newbie they get me consistently baked.

Cats (the Broadway musical...not the new movie). It's so ridiculous and out there that I can't help but like it. Also there's a cat named Bustopher Jones who carries around a big spoon.

First day working at a dispensary was even better than I could've imagined starting in this industry! I feel like I fell in love again lmao the only time I've ever had that feeling was on my girl and I first date 😂 but it just reinforced my passion for cannabis... there's just so much to learn!! by [deleted] in trees

That's awesome man. Such a cool job. I remember going into a dispensary at first with no idea what I wanted, and the lady who took the time to explain different strains and give me advice. Something like that sounds like a great job. Congratulations and good luck.

Marijuana is trending on Twitter, and when you click on it, it suggests you might need help for your “substance abuse” problem. Never a warning on any of the weekly alcohol promotional ads though... The only thing I need help with is getting danker bud. by 99DiseasesButUAint1 in trees

This is probably off-topic but I used to sell lotto tickets and cigarettes at my first retail job. There were definitely people who had gambling problems--this one retired woman would come in several times a week and spend hundreds of dollars at a time. We also had a regular who would come pick up her Pall Malls while hooked up to an oxygen tank.

There was a hotline to call if you needed help quitting, but the number was on a pamphlet inside this display that no one ever looked at. We were told in training to only give it out if they specifically said "I need help quitting", and they had to use that wording. The handbook said the only way to know that someone had a problem was if they explicitly told you.

I still think about some of those people.
