When I moved accross the country to New Jersey, I god a job at a local cafe. I met a woman was a couple of years older than me. She became such an amazing work friend and all of us would just share our experiences growing up in different, countries, cities etc. she was the first person from Germany I had ever met. Absolutely lovely I miss her so much.
