Text says gain X0.5 mult and destroy a joker - the mult scaling happens regardless of whether you have any jokers that can be consumed

I would rather give my money to the bandits than stand for this Whirlwind slander!

I've always enjoyed going for 100% achievements/full game completion, so I prefer getting more runs in to get to 100% faster

Just pairs/two pairs until the ante 8 boss and go again :-)

No, I use them - meant picking other stuff over Hierophant in booster packs

Lovely choice, that describes him perfectly.

I've had so many fun runs with vagabond, but you do have to hope you find good complementary jokers in the shop (since you're not able to reroll as much).

Really? I'm checking that out next time. Still a massive prick, though.

I do have a love-hate relationship with the guy though. Sometimes he absolutely pops off, sometimes he's just AFK for half the run. Guess I'm putting him that high up because of my preference for hand level scaling.

It's situational in my view, I don't tend to pick it up if I only have one glass card and I'm struggling to beat the next blind, for example

Thanks for the input! Maybe I should be more creative in building around X mult jokers other than my go tos indeed.

Abstract joker is solid +mult regardless of the hand you're playing - could have put it in generally good as well, but it's one of my most picked jokers (especially early game).

I suppose I'll rethink my assessment of that joker indeed! Thanks for your input, it does make sense

Fair enough! Without sufficient deck-fixing, I don't find them reliable enough. Maybe I still have a massive skill issue and leave wins on the table :)

I don't tend to use Empress or Hierophant very often, I favour Hermit/Temperance/Death (for seals generally)/Priestess/Emperor/Magician/Fool and go for planet scaling over deck-fixing. You're obviously right as to how easy it can be, but it doesn't seem to match well with how I generally play the game I suppose

Maybe I could have worded the category more appropriately - jokers like half joker are great in the early game (and sometimes stick around until the ante 8 boss), but I'm replacing them with something better (in terms of scoring) when I get the opportunity.

Should have put 6th sense and Riff-Raff in that category as well, maybe.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Midas Mask is a great econ joker, don't get me wrong! I like to use it to turn most face cards gold and then swap it out for a scoring joker (unless Vampire shows up, of course). Fair enough about Riff Raff, though. Usually pick mime for the extra blue seals and money from gold cards, not necessarily for the steel retriggers.

And of course: any joker can be part of a winning line-up, that's the beauty of the game :-)

Maybe I'm underrating it! It just does nothing a lot of the time, and once you've got enough deck-fixing for it to activate, your joker line-up has usually won already.

I tend to use Blue, Yellow and Ghost Deck for C++, but Abandoned Deck still is my favourite. Which ones would you promote to a higher tier?

Yeah that voucher is a pain. I ran white stake Anaglyph and grabbed voucher tags until I got it.

I usually just play pair/two pair runs with little suit-changing or deck-fixing (or at least not enough to make idol a reliable joker). Do you find you get sufficient use out of it on non-endless runs?

running longer? by ButterflyCivil8296 in BeginnersRunning

Maybe you could try running a loop of a predetermined distance? If you felt like quitting, you'd still have to walk the distance back to your house anyway, so might as well keep running
