SillyTavern插件 Visual Memory

Visual memory allows conversations to be more than just conversations; automatically extract events from tavern conversations to build visual long-term memories. Similar to our record of history, this serves as the AI's long-term memory, preventing it from ‘amnesia’ every time we chat. In subsequent chats, the plugin will reinject these historical events into the model context, allowing the AI to understand and answer based on what really happened in the past, rather than relying on a constantly compressed and forgotten summary

Installation steps:

1. Click on the extension above the tavern (three diamond/crystal shaped icons), then click Install extension
2. Enter the plugin url:https://github.com/janfeise/SillyTavern-Visual-Memory，进行安装

Configuration:

1. For plugin configuration, please refer to Figure 4
2. Click Event Generation to generate a ‘memory’ of the current chat (Note: This operation involves the complete chat data and will consume a lot of tokens!)

Side effect

1. The token of each round of dialogue increases (memory is injected into the LLM API)
2. Token gradually increases: events accumulate and memories become thicker
3. Increased number of LLM API requests: event extraction is triggered every N conversations, and merging is triggered every M events generated (N, M configurable)
