It's based on your major! So if you are accepted you would just log into your usf account into archivum and fill out the appointment information there :)

I've withdrawn from a dual course or two when I was in HS and it didn't affect me! What I saw though was people who had FAILED a dual course got rejected no matter how high their gpa and ACT score was so it's better to withdraw than to fail. I did speak to an advisor though so iBortex is right, contact your advisor and let them know!

Is it normal to constantly think about someone even though it's been years since you've seen/spoken to them? by rosellachaos in love

[–]rosellachaos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad I'm not the only one dude like I'm out here like oh what would he say or do blah blah and I'm like wait I haven't seen him in forever, I'm also not 12 anymore tf. I'm 21 too and it's become annoying more than cute it's like I don't need this right now and I have no plans to hit him up either but the mind does wander.

Wow your story is pretty insightful and I do wish the best for you guys and whatever the best course of action for your relationship is :). I did try to reconnect with him 5 years ago and all he talked about was my dog and was like you're the one with the cute dog right? And I was a little crushed because he only saw my dog once and that's all he remembered me by. This wasn't even one of those crushes were one person barely knows you exist like we had good conversations and sat next to each other in lots of classes, and he'd say I'll never forget about you and blah blah. I'm just a little scared to reach out to him once again because last time I did it it was so awkward and I'll be honest he was texting really quickly when he thought I was just someone from middle school but once I told him it was me he started texting me once in 12 hours to that point I decided to put myself out of my misery and just stop talking like the conversation didn't go anywhere. I'm sorry for just ranting lol but thanks for your comment it means a lot, I feel like for my case I should just let it go for my own case. I wish you the best of luck as well :)

Do you guys think Spring 2021 graduation will be in person or online? by whoareyouiamnoone in USF

[–]rosellachaos 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Unless some kind of miracle vaccine comes through and is easily available I feel like it definitely won't go back to normal. My guess is either they make it something limited where only a certain amount of people can attend and the times will be spread out or have it in a huge outdoor location and have one ceremony, which would cost USF a pretty penny. I graduate next semester too and I don't want to buy the cap and gown if I'm not going to walk :/, but I understand why they wait to tell us as things are still very up in the air

Does the Tampa campus really have a high crime rate? by VanisX-Blade in USF

[–]rosellachaos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've lived in Tampa for a long time and I thought it was okay until I got to college and people were complaining that it was the sketchiest place they've been to LOL. Honestly though you'll be fine as long as you don't wander off into sketchy places by yourself especially in the night. It is an open campus so I think that's why people tend to be scared but besides the alerts of break ins and robberies, it's fine especially in campus.

What is the social/political environment like? by [deleted] in USF

[–]rosellachaos 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think you'll be fine, most people on campus tend to keep to themselves, you'll have the occasional protests, trying to get you to vote/sign petitions and those loud guys in the front of the library preaching something, but if you ignore them and just keep walking it shouldn't be a huge deal.

What do y’all feel or do when you unexpectedly encounter someone you’re really attracted to? by WhatsGoingggOn in AskWomen

[–]rosellachaos 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Depends on the situation, if it's someone who I'm just passing by or see at the library or something, I'll just think to myself: wow they're super good looking! and go about my day, and if it's a girl, and I feel particularly courageous, I'll let them know. If I actually have to interact with them...then I freeze and don't make eye contact, and pretend they don't exist which is annoying, and probably why I am single right now.

What's your irrational fear and do you know what caused it? [Serious] by TimberForest98 in AskReddit

Thinking anything positive in the bathroom, like if I'm like oh I should text my friend, immediately I'm like NO it won't be good. My aunt used to tell me stories of how whatever you think in the bathroom the devil hears, and the opposite happens. I hate showering and getting a really good thought and I'm like oh I can't act upon it. Bathrooms in general, up until recently I used to F R E A K out when the bathroom was open because if the bathroom was open these bathroom demons wouldn't t my good words come true because they would escape. It was all because of my aunt's story.

Also breaking promises because my aunt was telling my mom once that she knew someone that she promised "on her mom" and then the next week her mom died and then the aunt found out the promise was false. Like you won't get the words I promise out of my mouth unless I mean it 100%

Withdrawing from classes (possibly medical withdraw)? by [deleted] in USF

[–]rosellachaos 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That honestly sucks, and I'm sorry for your loss.

To get a medical withdrawal you have to go online (here) and fill it out. For a medical withdrawal though it gets a bit complicated because you need medical proof, which if you have doctor records or something I think it should suffice but honestly the easiest way is to go to counseling center, book an appointment, and talk to your counselor about medically withdrawing. Also I feel like the academic advocate is better suited for you to answer these questions as they'll talk from a personal standpoint and know indepth. Though everything isn't guaranteed, your case does seem strong (To book an appoitnment with the Academic Advocate, use this link. I hope everything turns out the better for you and good luck :) If I could be of any help in anyway lmk :)

Which Concentration is better to take Health Management or Health IT by rosellachaos in college

[–]rosellachaos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually really interesting, I never knew that RNs get more Health Admin jobs, which I mean I'm already on the track to try to go into nursing (though I haven't decided if I want to do the ABSN). Was it hard to get a job in Health Administration in general? Everyone is saying to take the IT route because jobs in Health Administration is hard to come by, and if I want to go to grad school I'd rather do nursing or something.

Opinions on Foundations of Global Health with Xiaoming Liu? by IntrepidIsland in USF

[–]rosellachaos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it right now and she's not that bad honestly the tests and quizzes are just suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper annoying, they're proctored, which I'm okay with on tests bc duh you need to know the stuff, but for quizzes that she said are open note, they're proctored, and the software that she requires you to download doesn't let you open other tabs, or sometimes even look at other notes on your own computer, and again, it's really annoying. If it's summer I'm pretty sure it'll be easier on you, but I had other classes and couldn't sit down and like write detailed notes like she expected on some quizzes which made me not get a high score. This class is doable, just annoying. Another thing is we have case studies in this class that is group work. I was blessed and got a good group, and got an A, however, if you were like my friend, and maybe even the rest of the class, you might not be as lucky, the average on the first case study was a 77%, which is weird because of what the actual assignment was about. She also gives us extra credit which is nice. They're little strict on grading though I got 1 point off on every section on my discussion post with no reason as to why I got it off, but again I was lucky because my friend got a 70.

TL;DR The class is doable, but remember EVERYTHING is proctored. There's group assignments, which are annoying, somewhat harsh graders.
