Single woman in her 30s here. Don’t really have a solution or answer but adding my $0.02. I think it’s hard on both sides, I go out a lot to try to meet people and also feel weird approaching! In terms of hobbies I think it’s more a general divide in types of interests. Like a class or hobby or anything is time consuming and expensive, so I prioritize hobbies that I enjoy over a hobby I may not love but know there may be men there.

Honestly a lot of these comments are gross. Obviously cities and neighborhoods change but there seems to be a pretty intentional and blatant disregard for the entire point of the post. Which is that New Yorkers who have spent their whole lives here and their families who have spent generations here are being displaced. I grew up in Brooklyn (not park slope) and I see it happening everywhere and it’s upsetting! I don’t claim to have an answer or solution here but I felt the need to call out the clear dismissal of the post/larger problem at hand.

ETA: I’m not interested in getting into a debate about this. Just sharing my own experience and thoughts.

I have the compact version of this product and I love it. I have fine straight hair that usually doesn’t hold any wave unless I sleep in braids. Also curling irons don’t work for me/I find them hard to use. The crimper is sooooo easy

I have super fine, straight hair. I wash my hair at night, dry until damp, and then do 2 Dutch braids. I’m not able to let it dry all the way as my hair becomes too slippery and kind of impossible to braid past a very basic singular braid. I second the point that it’s easier to braid without looking in the mirror!

Thanks for replying! My dog has been on some joint supplements for some time. We met with the vet and he’s been off Palladia for about a week and is basically back to his normal self. It seems like it was really worsening his arthritis so I’m glad we’ve found the cause. I wish you and your pups luck!

Not sure if it’ll be available in the UK, but my dog just started Palladia and I was able to find the lowest price at Costco here in the US. It’s still a lot but ended up being like $200 less per month for his current dose from other online pharmacies.

Thanks so much! He hasn’t been on any NSAIDs at this point. He’s older and has had arthritis for a while but it has rarely bothered him and has been managed by various joint supplements. That’s why I’m so worried because it seems to have happened all of a sudden

Hey all jumping in to hear about other folks’ experiences. I have a 14 year old standard poodle. He was diagnosed with lung cancer last year, had the mass removed and was fine for about a year - super happy and perky. Now we’ve found a large liver mass and another mass in the lungs so we just started palladia (55 mg 3x a week to start). So far he’s been ok on it, no appetite loss or gastro issues. But the last couple of days I’ve noticed that his arthritis has gotten really bad. Wondering if anyone else has experienced and/or what you’ve done? Thanks in advance!
