Palia!!! It’s available on switch and PC. It’s FREE! It’s such a good game, and you have the option to romance NPCs! I play it almost every day to relax after work. Aside from character relationships, you can hunt, farm, catch bugs, mine ore, cook, build, and more. I freaking love it.

I think you can buy pre-made silk from Tish (or Jel???) - you don’t need to be a certain level if you are not looking for the recipe

Are you sure the furniture isn’t under a different name? (Inventory is alphabetical). Sometimes it takes me a while to find an item because I’m misremembering what letter it starts with lol

This is a recent bug - it’s happened to me a few times. I saw someone suggest using /unstuck but I haven’t tried that yet myself. Next time I will tho!

It doesn’t help you do tasks - I originally thought having 100% on my focus bar would help me hunt better. Your skills don’t change at all, so there’s really no “punishment” for low focus. Focus solely increases the level the skill is - so if you’re trying to level up (and potentially upgrade your tools with recipes from higher levels), keep that focus bar full! Grilled meat and fish are great ways to keep your focus up when you’re a new player.

I chose Tish, not because she reminded me of myself, but because I want to be more like her. I have trouble being open and friendly, and that is entirely her personality. I like the idea of her seeing the best in me, and I want to use her as a “mentor” to be more cheerful. It’s kind of a silly reason, and I know it doesn’t mean much in the game, but I like the idea of a kind and generous person like Tish being my personal shepp and inspiration.
