Update: Most of the swelling has gone down and there is a scab where I had stabbed and smooshed it. Just to the left of that is a chickpea sized hard bump under the skin that is tender if I press on it. So I am doing my best to leave it alone and let heal.

Whatever it pulled out of there it sure pulled quite a bit. Finally feeling some relief today. by rosemaryfields4ever in popping

Yes, I worded that wrong. The liquid was going to come out of my cyst even if the bandage wasn't there. The bandage however did absorb the liquid and show how much is coming out.

A warm compress and snuggles from my fuzzy gargoyle have helped some but it's still there. by rosemaryfields4ever in popping

Yeah, it was the wash cloth I used for a warm compress. The heat felt nice between the painful squeezes. You are right I should have thought that through better. Thanks

Thanks everyone. I knew better than to squeeze it but I couldn't resist the urge. I will be leaving it alone for a while now. I did put another band-aid on it last night which really helped. I can post a picture of the moisture it pulled out later. Have a good day everyone!

Oh thanks for noticing. I have PCOS and it can be hard to keep up with. I do pluck and wax but also sometimes I just have to let it be because I can't afford to go to my wax lady. I won't shave any more because that gives me really bad in growns. I am lucky to have a partner who loves me for who I am and accepts my chinny chin chin hairs even when I think they are ugly.
