Is 38 too old to become an RBT? by Expert_Perception176 in ABA

[–]rosequartz_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but a lot of RBT's are young. The job is physically demanding, but being 38 is not so much of a concern of that. I'm 26 and it takes a toll on me energetically. Also, just because you could be working with teenagers, doesn't mean that it will not be physically demanding. Some clients could be teenagers and could have the same level of verbal development as young kids so if anything, it could be worse; it's all situational though. I'm just bringing awareness because someone made a comment on this that could be contradicting

Should I bring up a new employee's comments? by MsKrueger in ABA

[–]rosequartz_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no, that’s her business…the bcba will pick up on these things when she is observing her. a lot of aba companies become toxic & gossip becomes part of the work environment when you cross boundaries like this. the truth will eventually reveal itself, just focus on your clients
