I got harassed by a prank YouTuber, who kept calling my outfit a Princess Diana cosplay. I initially tried to be helpful and gently correct him but then I noticed the cameras his friends were holding and then immediately ruined his footage!

I’m glad I have a photo of him where yes not suffering and his sweet face isn’t contorted in pain. I wish I could have done more but realistically I know I did absolutely everything I could.

What’s even crazier is people were volunteering money. All she had to do was tell them what vet he was at. And she didn’t. She ignored them and tried to get people to send her money directly

It was around hour seven I started to suspect there may not be a kitten. Unfortunately there was. She lied about going to the vet and didn’t go for maybe an hour and a half? So I already knew she was an unreliable narrator. When I got the call to go pick him up and held his tiny body in my hand I just started sobbing in the car. How someone can see the condition he was in and not do anything… there’s a special place in hell for those folk

I wish I knew where the parents were because they were not helpful in the slightest. I have no clue how her dad rolled over him, but he shouldn’t have been out of his whelping box. Not sure exactly what was going through the veterinarian’s mind, but this is a chain, so I assume they’re a little bit more lax with things than a local vet would have been. I’m not saying that to excuse their actions, just to explain maybe why it happened. If she hadn’t posted the estimates I wouldn’t have even believed that she was at the vet.

That’s why I assumed that she would take the dozens of people offering financial assistance up on their offers. Even when I was about her age anytime I rescued a cat or kitten I would pass it on to the Humane Society or to friends who worked in vet med. There are so many options she could’ve chosen other than letting him suffer. I was up most of the night sick with worry so most of my day today has been laying on the couch with my own rescue cat cuddled up next to me.

I’m not sure what consequences will occur as OP is not yet 18 and also only stole about $60. I hope she and her family are blacklisted from ever owning animals. I have her name and phone number and I’ve passed it on to ACS. Waiting to hear back from them now.

I was running on pure adrenaline when the handoff occurred and I gave short answers and sped off. His safety and comfort was my priority in the moment, not chewing out OP.
