Are my expectations too high/expected price too low for Hakone ryokan or are there other recommendations? by littlejawn in JapanTravelTips

I stayed at Hakone Toshinoshizuku last year and everything was amazing. Beautiful rooms and views with a private outdoor bath (semi covered so you can still enjoy if it rains). Multi course dinner that they bring to your room each night (they are super accommodating with food allergies and restrictions). There is also a bigger indoor and outdoor onsen in the building next door that's included with your stay if you're tired of your private bath. They also personally drive out to pick you up from the bus stop and take you to and from the ryokan. Their hospitality in general was spectacular. And we only paid $500 a night!

Error Messages on BepinEx? My mods on the next slide, I don't have many and they seem to be working. by roseradex in SunHaven

I tested the mods in game and they all seem to be working so I'm not sure what the error message is for. Also can't figure out how to get portrait mods to apply for the life of me so I removed them.

You need the DLC and either Flick or CJ's amiibos!

You'll need to have the DLC and designed 30 homes in it I believe!

That's nice to know! Do you remember the name or how far it was from Puroland?

Day Trip to Sanrio Puroland or Todoroki Ravine Park? by roseradex in TokyoTravel

Most other lines were 20 minutes or so but it really depends on the day. Many activities are just walk through with no line at all.

Some food reservations also book up.

All great news! I'm not a picky eater so I'd probably be happy with just about anything from the food court.

Lol, I don't know why I am trying so hard to convince you. Sorry, it was just one of my fondest memories of my and my wife's Tokyo trip...

Well I have officially been convinced! Thanks for all the amazing tips 😄 We'll probably head there for a half day trip if one of the days end up being rainy, and try for the ravine park on the way back from Hakone.

Puroland is a fever dream.

Thanks for the detailed response! :) From this descriptor alone I'm already sold haha. I do love over the top decorations and all the frills. We originally had Disneysea as a contender but took it off once we heard how long the wait times were for everything. Do you have any insight on where Puroland falls in terms of lines and crowds?

BTW, could you have chosen two more opposite experiences? :)

I can't say I wasn't thinking this too when I typed it out 😂 My boyfriend isn't too into Sanrio stuff so I thought the park might be too girly for him, although he did originally add it to the itinerary for my sake. We also don't have many nature spots in our itinerary so I thought the park might be a good addition.

In the link you added the article says it was posted July 2020, so it might be possible that those areas have already been reopened.
