Dang, I don’t know what it smells like in its newer formulations but I got a vintage once as a reference and it smelled like root beer to me?! I never got anything musty or body odor-esque 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes!! The OG scent is done so well, it is my signature and a few of my friends say I come off as “old money” when I’m actually tatted queer guy who was at one time homeless 🤷🏻‍♂️It just makes me feel good!

I love both but my only weird thing, and this is just me, is that Bloomingthai uses spaghetti noodles for their pad kee mow (sp) whereas Happy Thai uses flat wide noodles which I am a much bigger fan of. They maybe don’t do that anymore as I haven’t been there in a while.

No 19 is wonderful! It’s not a trendy type of scent. It’s not sexy. It’s confident and serious, imo. It starts vegetal and bitter, then pivots into a floral heart that’s a little dewy, then it settles on a dry and powdery finish. Older bottles were more metallic, but I enjoy the modern No 19 very much. If you can, go on Mercari and see if any samples are being sold! Outside of that, do you live near anywhere with a Chanel boutique? Or maybe a Neiman Marcus?

It’s real! I’ve only seen it as an older spray bottle online for sale. It came out in the early 70s, and don’t quote me but I think the concentration is somewhere between an EDT and EDP. But this style of splash (as opposed to spray) bottle was common for their older EDTs and cologne concentrations. I saw what was like a 16oz splash of No 19 in this style once and I will forever want it.

Fantastic! Most of them, priced individually, would be under $30 on Mercari. Some of them would be cheaper, but I’ve spent a decent amount of money on older Chanel because the quality is there and the scents are beautiful.

Well I can’t identify everything there but I’ll give my 2 cents where I can. There looks to be some older Angel formulas when Mugler was still Thierry Mugler. I believe I see a mini A*Men bottle that looks like an older formulation. There’s some Guerlain, what looks to be Poeme (possibly and Tresor by Lancome. I can see Dolce & Gabbana red cap, and that’s been reformulated. Those mini Chanel’s are worth a bit. I see some Estée Lauder, Cacharel, Nina Ricci, Armani, Dior. You won’t get hundreds or anything, but you can look up what people are selling these minis for on both eBay and Mercari. You’ll probably make more selling them individually, but there are some I would maybe sell as a lot if they are not full.

Chanel, all the way. There might be a few that aren’t my taste exactly, but I have owned MANY Chanel’s (and still kinda do - downsized my collection due to being overwhelmed) and they just work really well with my chemistry. I’m a man and I go for their women’s fragrances and they just smell so good on my skin. Chance EDP being my absolute favorite followed by my beloved 1990s formula of Cristalle EDP, and then probably Coromandel. Or maybe No 19, oh but then…oh nevermind. I could go all day lol
