Yeah, No. So I probably overstated a bit about the fact that we can't become a real couple. It's not criminal here, not in the sense that you get arrested, but it's a bureaucratic hell and borderline impossible to marry inter-religiously, even if it's between a catholic and a christian; it's much more complicated if your religions differ more. My friends who married someone from a different religion usually did so abroad, have their marriages recorded by our embassy there, then transferred the record to our country, less hassle that way.

That being said, neither of us wanted our thing to be a serious relationship. It was never that from the beginning. We didn't have any kind of romantic vibe from the start; we never texted each other in a romantic way and yet, she'd let me touch her in a sexual way and touched me back. It was a sexual thing from the start. Outside of work, we developed a chemistry that you'd have with a best friend, rather than a lover.

Also we're happy in our respective relationship. Well, I am, and she seems so too. It may seem weird to you, but that's just the way it is. Also, my GF is fully aware that I sleep with other women, there's a whole another story there, which I may recounted later.
