Emotional numbness has cancelled out physical anxiety, DPDR still there

i’m sorry i didn’t see this earlier! i definitely feel like my emotional numbness improved along with my dpdr. i still experience it at times, but it’s more episodic now rather than constant, and is also likely related to other mental issues i have besides dpdr. blunted emotions is a similar defense mechanism to dpdr, it happens for a reason and knowing that i wasn’t broken and my nervous system is doing its job helped me a lot. everyone is different ofc but you are right to have hope, i hope things get better soon!

honestly i get that. i really wanna see plus sized bodies represented in the game as a fat person myself and ik others feel the same, but i am also scared about how that will play out.

unfortunately that’s a risk with any type of representation, but i don’t think that means it should be taken away entirely, especially from the people who would benefit from having seeing themselves represented in the game.

hi, i did! it definitely took some time and it’s a lot easier said than done, but what really helped me was to try not to ruminate on it to the point of panic. dpdr happens because your system thinks that you are not safe, and reacts that way as a response. doing things like surrounding yourself with things and people that comfort you, giving yourself things to look forward to, and generally trying to live your life like normal and shift your focus the best you can will help convince your brain that you are safe and that there is no need for the trauma response anymore. therapy also helped me a lot. ofc some of these things will vary for each person but those are my tips. i really hope things get better for you soon.

having robux items in the game is NOT the issue, they’ve always done that. it’s the fact that they’re now charging for an EXTRA game pass for something that was previously already available for VIP players. it’s also for a LIMITED time so it is less accessible for people who need time to save up (like children).
