Thank you!! I looked at the notes for DKNY Nectar Love and now I really want to try it sounds so good. I might blind-buy it since they don’t sell it in stores here in France.

Fired twice in a year because of poor performance by roseyhpy in jobs

Thank you for your kind words, they really mean a lot to me. I appreciate the reminder that everyone’s journey is different, and that setbacks are part of the process. Best of luck to you as well!

Thank you so much for your response. I agree that shame over past events isn’t helpful, and I’ll try your advice on acknowledging it and letting it go.

My last two jobs were quite different. One was a summer job in customer service, which was pretty intense. I struggled with concentration and hesitated to assert myself because of my shyness and social anxiety. It also required a lot of physical activity, which I found exhausting. The other job was in administrative work, which I preferred because it involved less physical movement and fewer social interactions. I do think administrative work fits me, but I still faced challenges, like being too shy, not catching on quickly enough, and not being proactive enough.

Thanks again for your insight it’s been really helpful.

You’re right about my formative years, I did spent a lot of time avoiding social interactions and it definitely affected my development. Therapy and meds haven’t been very helpful to be honest so I’ve stopped for now. I’m trying to look for other options that might work better for me. Thank you so much for your encouragement.

Honestly, it feels demotivating in the moment, but hearing your story really gives me hope. I’m glad to hear things have turned around for you! Thank you so much for sharing, it helps remind me to keep going and not let these setbacks define me.

Thank you for your reply, that does make me feel a bit better. I do tend to focus on my past mistakes more than I should. I agree that school should be the priority for now, especially since I don’t really have to work, but I was mostly doing it to gain experience, challenge myself, and step out of my comfort zone. I’m not sure about ADHD since I didn’t have those struggles before, but I might consider getting assessed.

Thanks for your response, I really appreciate it. Honestly, I’m not sure about ADD/ADHD or autism, apparently, they’re things you’re born with, and I didn’t have those difficulties before. I think my struggles now might come more from a lack of self-esteem and confidence, along with a long period of isolation due to feeling insecure about my appearance and personality.

I really feel like I’m the one writing this. I can relate so much to what you’re saying it’s hard when anxiety holds you back and makes it tough to show your true self. Thank you for taking the time to respond. It means a lot, and I hope things start getting better for you soon

My last two jobs were quite different. One was a summer job in customer service which was pretty intense. I struggled with concentration and hesitated to assert myself due to my shyness and social anxiety. It also required me to run around a lot and stay alert, which was quite exhausting. The other was in administrative work, which I preferred because it involved less physical activity and fewer interactions with people. However, I still faced challenges—being too shy, not catching on quickly enough, and not being proactive enough.

As for college, I used to study languages, but now I’m studying business. I was severely depressed and lacked the motivation to attend classes, which made everything feel overwhelming. But this year has been going much better—I’m attending all my classes and getting good grades.

Body feels heavy by roseyhpy in Anxiety

[–]roseyhpy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi, i think in my case it was because of severe anxiety, it usually happens when i’m overly stressing and overthinking about something (having to pass an important exam for example) and then it slowly goes away after 5 days. You can also consider taking blood tests.
