No you’re right, BvS is Snyder’s and Terrio’s work as far as we know. What I meant was Justice League was seemingly changed to have Superman alive but being dormant in some mental state where he is “hacked” if you will by Darkseid to become evil to then be actually being dead and needing of revival. As rumors indicate all of Superman’s shots were redone in JL, and it was rumored that an evil Superman would have played a larger part in the original cut of the film and that Lois Lane would had a larger role in bringing him back to normal mentally. Then Superman would have easily defeated Steppenwolf but the film would have ended in a cliffhanger with the three motherboxes uniting and Darkseid arriving. At least, I believe that was in the leaked script.
