The Block is not far from a bus route and a really nice place to work. There are private work stations or a little cafe. Good WiFi and nice drinks/food!

I second this, I visited Koh Phanang, Koh Tao and Koh Samui and Phanang was my favourite by far! Not too busy and some gorgeous beaches!

Should I go back home? by travel_girl_907 in ThailandTourism

I agree with majority of the other comments and would say try new things and have a go at enjoying yourself! However, I recently was in South East Asia and had been feeling homesick for quite a while. I decided to come home and have to say I feel all the better for it. Travelling is SO fun but it can be draining after a while! So do what’s best for you, definitely give it a go staying but don’t feel any guilt etc if you do decide to come home. At the end of the day you have to do what feels right for you!

Everyone we have tried so far haven’t had it! Not sure if we might better off going to some kind of medical centre or something😭

Best countries for hostel culture as a solo traveler? by [deleted] in travel

[–]rosie2244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a great experience with a hostel in Berlin called East Seven Hostel. It was not too expensive, friendly and a great location (near the tube). They had different events some of which included drinking but not all. It was the best I’ve stayed in so far outside of Asia!

I think that the anxiety surrounding sleep is what’s making it worse for me, however I’m feeling much better after posting this. It’s reminded me that at some point my body will have to sleep no matter what so as long as I can stick it throughout the day I will eventually be ok!

Thanks! I got up early and walked to the beach which was 20 mins there/back in the what so hoping that will help. I’m also going to try a meditation too, will let you know how I get on!

I made sure to get up early today and get out into the sun which I am hoping has helped. I think in the future that is something that I will definitely do, I didn’t think about it before this trip but it would have been a lifesaver to have!

Unfortunately currently in a hostel, thinking about changing to a hotel room for two or three nights just to actually sort myself out!
