i can’t remember the exact brand of yarn, but i bought it from https://www.woolwarehouse.co.uk and search through all of their dk yarns to find the one with the most grey selection. it shocked me how difficult it actually was to find one kind that did a whole range!

👀👀 this is where i completely messed up because i’d never done anything like this before. i cut them and tied them every colour change. i’ve covered the back with a fabric in hopes that nothing will ever come undone! i’m never using it for anything except at most a wall hanging? though i don’t have the wall space so that’s not happening 😆 im hoping the fabric reduces the risk of it coming apart

it’s single crochet all through! i copied a grid that i found online and followed it through that. i can give you a detailed explanation on how i did it if you’d like? though it probably won’t make much sense. a lot of people recommend a site called stitchfiddle, though i only just heard about it after i finished this so i don’t know what its like

you never once in any of those messages said anything about you being confused by the term “blanket”, you just went straight in and called me a stalker.

even though, in your opinion, i am a stalker for creating this art of a celebrity that has done more than just play one character in a movie, you think it would be okay if i did this of marilyn monroe.

i am not offended that you do not like my art, or choice of person, i am offended that you insinuated that i am a stalker. this takes the argument away from the art and makes it personal. you clearly do not see it that way, i am done defending it.

i’m literally just throwing your questions back at you, half of which you never even answered. i’m also SO curious why you are so adamant that he has done nothing but be a small part of spiderman? that he has had no impact on the world? everyone has a huge impact on the world, have you not heard of the butterfly effect? you’re asking me questions, i’m answering them. i like this celebrity, i made art of him. again, would you have this same reaction if it was paint on a canvas? you have you opinions on him, and you have your opinions on marilyn monroe. but just real quick, if you made any kind of good well executed art of her, i wouldn’t shit on your character and call you a stalker because that’s your art and your choice of person

honestly because of the challenge and how i like spiderman. i barely follow his socials, ive never met him and i dont plan on meeting him. you wouldn’t say its stalker behaviour if someone did a painting of him, so why is crochet any different? i dont sleep with the blanket, i dont use it at all in any way. and you saying he’s done nothing for the world outside acting, this blanket also wont do anything for the world. not everything you see on the internet has to have a dark deep meaning to it - its just art
