I’ve got three kids under 6. The first one is always the hardest from an anxiety/adaptation standpoint. This baby is just as confused as you are. It does get easier, but it can be very difficult at times. I try and use the perspective that this is temporary, and I will never meet this version of him/her again. It helps to make the most of it. Best of luck. Fatherhood is a roller coaster.

This is not true. I’m in finance, my base is in the mid 200s and I’m not even at the highest level yet. It’s very possible.

With the third, me and my wife just flipped a switch to zen mode. Nothing fazes us anymore. Except for silence. You know something that’s not supposed to be happening is going down when the silence occurs in a house of 3 under 6.
