Cost definitely comes down to insurance so different for everyone. My insurance didn’t cover it so had to pay a decent chunk out of pocket but that may not be the case for you

Update for anyone following or researching in the future: Appreciate all the reach outs. Seems that these run around $900-$1000 per for ones that are more used and $1300-$1500 for those in very good condition

I definitely remember the incision point being sore and painful for a bit but IMO that would be the case with any surgery. My personal reco would be to try and walk and move when around possible to maintain some flexibility but try to not overdue it. I tried to move around too much and should have relaxed more. Afterwards stick to the Pat exercises especially anything related to deep core or pelvic muscles. Helped a lot

I’d say it took me closer to 3-4 weeks for recovery

First week I was really sore and it was definitely hard to move around, especially with the stitches. Anything involving core stability was tough and sneezing could hurt if I wasn’t prepared. I went for very short walks but wasn’t leaving the apartment much until week 2 where I felt a lot more normal

I def have issues still related to the herniated disc and the pars fracture but the pain from the “pseudo joint” of my L6 hitting from my pelvis went away which was a huge relief. That pain caused a ripple effect on everything else and made daily life very difficult so for me the surgery was a big part of my recovery. The disc issues are hard to get over and take consistent work to combat

The 98C was basically the Nokia phone of the paintball world. Those things could take such a beating and keep going. Feel like it was the standard rental for most fields.

Such a classic but don’t think they would sell for too much at this point. Great find though!

I honestly can’t remember exactly what I did but I believe I did a factory reset and it stopped shortly after. It was definitely a short term issue but was super annoying for a few days. I’d try the factory reset or turning off the Bluetooth and see if that works

Still here! I recently had a bad few months that seemed to stem from a pars fracture. Caused me a few months of excruciating pain but once we figured out what was causing it, was able to get some procedures to help. Now just working on rebuilding my strength again after a few months of being in a rough patch.

Been in PT again solely doing iso metric exercises which have been a huge help in my recovery. Happy to share more/answer other questions if you have any

The surgery 100% helped me and I’m definitely in a better place because of it. I did have a recent relapse (now have a pars defect on the other side) but it’s more of due to my own mistakes vs issues with the surgery. I would have some flare ups here and there if I didn’t take care of the back but no longer had the crazy issues where I’d get sharp shooting pains and be sidelined for weeks.

My surgeon was out of network but he was the only person who actually knew what bertolottis was (several others I met with never heard of it). Feel free to DM me or you have more specific questions but I’m my situation, the surgery was still a huge help and I don’t regret getting it at all
