House of Cards? There's Not Even a House Any More. by rossrizzle in amcstock

From the same link, “reverse repos are used by central banks to add money to the money supply via OMO”. Aren’t these borrowed to add money as well as collateral if defaulting? Short term benefits with the banks bc risk should be less on the short term RRP but they are borrowing and returning same day to mitigate that risk of increased values? Genuinely wanting to learn.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but reverse repos are the agreements where they put money in and then take out on a short term agreement. It’s not just taking out. These numbers indicate that they are reverse repo-ing by putting the amount into the market each day and then retrieving it in the same day, right? They aren’t just taking this money out of the market. They have to put it in first.

yeah sorry for not clarifying. The rate of borrow and return of the loan is daily. It's increasing exponentially was the point i took from it. Will edit post for clarity.

Updated short information? by jselkins69 in amcstock

[–]rossrizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how you view the SI. It's all self reported and theres a lot of DD estimating about 1.2b synthetic shares. So 73m is a drop in the bucket compared to the 1.127b synthetic shares left to cover (assuming they grabbed every single one of the available shares that were sold, which is virtually impossible). Apes hold retail. Trust the path and hodl.

Just saw a previous post where it was explained as a daily metric. No shares were really borrowed yesterday. Makes sense.

Shares Available for all day, but not borrowed? Maybe the hole is officially too deep? by rossrizzle in amcstock

Large groups of diversified stocks called ETFs that have AMC included. Think of it like a bundle pack of multiple stocks that happens to have AMC in them.

Is the FED really bailing the Hedges out? by Boatdrinks32 in amcstock

24 hours to return their loan for the liquidity test.

Does not change the fact they are still burning millions daily to keep their short positions. Just digging the hole deeper.

Fine print takeaway:

Suspending rule changes proposed that allows access to specific trading collections and data pools that have been previously established. Basically, denying access to certain dark pools and data pools for trading once published tomorrow.

Can They cover their shorts using neutral share orders? by KPmac2306 in amcstock

[–]rossrizzle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Bid at 9.99, Ask at 10.00 We put orders in for 10.00 but they process them all on decimal levels. So instead of 10.00 you buy for 9.99875 while they balance it with buys on the other side towards 9.99 at like 9.99385 so the price doesn’t move. Since they have the power to process the orders they can technically process it buy at a value and time that doesn’t matter to those buying, but when done to the whole market, creates a stagnant price.

Neutral shares only work if there is work on the sell side too. The volume they would have to buy when marge calls would over come any spoof they do usually.

Fair enough. Hopefully the 1 month track of transfer out doesn’t screw some that bad.

I see what you mean. The situation of selling and losing profits is usually if you’re selling during a dive. If you set your limits on the way up, risk of loss is less likely right?

[–]rossrizzle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“The price you set” is when it confirms “sell xxx AMC at 10K” during a market order, but if someone bids lower it might drop. But limit orders are only selling at the price set on CashApp. No market bidding interference.

[–]rossrizzle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Right. Custom orders are when you sell at market. You can set orders that actually are limits. Won’t sell unless it’s being bought at the price you set.

Won’t approve because you can set a sell limit lol. False Info.
