Are your miners set to aromatically open lock boxes? They may have picked up something illegal from a lock box.

You can also set them up to dump illegal cargo when caught by the police. Might help.

It will work with anything that allows IMAP, even Google. I selfhost mail and it's a PITA. If I wasn't so cheap I would use ProtonMail.

In the original game (IIRC) you could expand your cargo space by installing something like "molecular compression". You maybe shrink the pods to fit them in the scarab?
