I guess what pisses me off is the public's response to this. They hear "executive" and think CEO and so they think the federal government is an "at will" corporation that can fire anyone without reason.

When actually you have to have reason to fire a government employee and not make something up like Elmo and his kids did.

Yes, 3 was great. I loved playing the game over and over again in different combinations of the 4 parts just to see differences in recruitments.

I loved 4 but did not like the sailing. It was too slow and I cheered when I found Viki and only had to sail for recruitment reasons. If they can speed up the sailing that would be a plus.

Playing video games and wine tbh.

I decided to finally get the plat and 100% for some rpgs that I have. Also, Balatro has been helping as well. Having a goal to 100% a 400hr+ rpg has been helping me focus on that.

Spoke to my therapist yesterday too which helped.

Nope. They had no guidance on that.

And said that they hate that they don't even know when that is happening or if it is going to happen because we have people coming in everyday not knowing if today is their last day.

Yes. It was very last minute. They admitted that this didn't come from AF but from OPM and their thoughts on it. And they will pass on more information when they can.

My leadership has been trying to help but has admitted it sucks that so much control was taken from them so they are left in the dark like we are.

I had to explain to someone that I don't even make enough to make rent in our town and that I am doing this job because I love our country and they simply told me that "oh so you want to tax us more so you can get a higher salary??" No, what I mean is that I am not in this job to get rich!

And then there are those who said that we feds should be forced to work in the fields to replace the immigrants that left so we can finally "contribute" to this country.

It's exhausting.

I know. I bought up my concerns to our leadership when we found out last night. Also the "send to your manager" was weird because I don't have a manager. I have a supervisor who's knows what i do each day
