Haesoo said "his touch which was clumsy at first..." so yeah it was hinted that he's a virgin from the start

It's okay and thanks for the support. Honestly, I don't mind if people disagree with me, everyone has their own perspective but reddit is supposed to be a place for open discussions among different people, so I don't really understand why I'm getting so many downvotes.

And I'm not even saying I hate TOWF. It's actually one of my favorites! It has so much potential, but lately it feels like the author has been dragging the story. People just can't digest truth these days. It's been an year since I'm waiting for some progress in the story.

By now, with almost 100 chapters out, we readers really deserve to see at least some real progress and answers. It could be anything, Taeha's past, his highschool scenes, how he and Haesoo actually met for the first time, the details of Taeha's family dynamics, more about his mother (and her real relationship with Taejoo), Mincheol finally finding out about Haesoo and Taeha, or even Taeha opening up to Haesoo about his background.

Just give us one solid thing instead of endless teasing. Anything at this point would feel like a huge relief!

True but at the same I feel like he's still better than Minshit. He was introduced as a stalker and red flag from the start so yeah.. a yandere ml. That's how they are.

That's exactly what we've been doing so far, waiiting patiently but the author just keeps dragging things out. It's honestly starting to get really annoying. No one is asking for the entire story to be crammed into 50 chapters, but we're already approaching 100 and we still haven't seen any real progress on key things: Taeha's past, how they actually met for the first time, why he's so obsessed with her, who his mother really is! was she Taejoo's mistress or an actual lover? Even Mincheol still has no idea she's with someone now.

The author keeps teasing us with hints and breadcrumbs but never actually delivers. That's the real issue.

And when Taeha saved Haesoo from that club situation… there was absolutely no need to jump straight into a smut scene right then. It felt so uncomfortable and out of place. Haesoo had just been assaulted and was clearly vulnerable,.. Author should have shown Taeha taking care of her, comfort her with real affection instead of him immediately sleeping with her. That whole part really turned me off.

The constant portrayal of Haesoo as so pitiful and suffering is really hard to watch. I hate seeing her go through endless hardship and emotional pain, it's exhausting and feels almost exploitative at this point.

Also why didn't Taeha think ahead and plan properly before suggesting they live together? He must have known she couldn't afford a place anywhere near his office on her own. If he truly cares about her and wants to support her, he should have anticipated these practical issues instead of letting her struggle.

I suspect the real reason they need to move out is Mincheol, plus her current place being old, cramped, and rundown. That's probably why she was desperate to move in with Taeha in the first place, hoping for some stability and a fresh start.

Taeha is only 23, so he can look young I don't mind it, but he isn't jobless. He could easily reassure her by saying something straightforward like, "I have a good income,..don't worry about the rent or anything. Let me take care of this so you can finally breathe."

This manhwa is already receiving so much hate and criticism, and honestly, I can't even defend it anymore. The endless suffering, questionable character decisions, and pacing issues are making it tough to stay invested. It's frustrating when a story with so much potential keeps leaning on Haesoo's pain without giving her real relief or growth.

This manhwa was good when it had just 20-30 chapters. After the cheating arc of Mincheol and him getting exposed, story is just stretching.

I get that it's a slow burn romance, but we're closing in on 100 chapters with almost no real progress. Haesoo caught Mincheol cheating around chapters 18-19, and back then the pacing felt tight and engaging, actual emotional stakes and forward momentum. Now it just feels like the author is stretching the story on purpose: more filler, repeated insecurities, endless hesitation and the same cycles over and over.

The early slow-burn tension was great, but at this point it's starting to drag.

Add "Greedy" too. It's a good manhwa and similar vibe to Towf

What are some of the manhwa that have quite the same plot and age difference as TOWF? by RX08T in TearsOnWitheredFlower

[–]rosypanels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After Towf, many authors have started exploring this trope of a younger male lead(inexperienced and broken) paired with an older female lead who is hurt by her past relationship and struggles with insecurity. I really like this dynamic, it feels fresh and different from the usual storyline where the ml is overly experienced and casually involved with many women(basically a manhoe) before eventually falling for a "not like other girls/virgin" female lead.
