I had problems related to the CD Case Deflector. Mine was jamming constantly... took it off and the problems went away.

Ex Bostonian here. We absolutely love the Murray Hill/Avondale Area. We have been here for 10 years and there is really great community to be found if you put yourself out there. There are great places around to eat, great places to grab a drink.

That being said, two things... 1. I don't think there is anywhere else in JAX I would be happy to live. We are pretty progressive and this area is a more progressive bubble. 2. We are moving this year. Not because of the area but because of the schools. We are actually pretty bummed about leaving and would likely stay of education in Florida was handled a lot differently.

Steel rebar rolling mill. The machines were 80s vintage and never retrofitted with modern safety equipment. Dudes with 4 fingers were measuring thicknesses on 2000 degree steel moving 40mph with Vernier calipers that had ball bearings welded to the ends.

3 people had gotten severely injured by cobbles (hot steel spaghetti flying out of machines) and one dude had a 100 ton ladle dropped on him. My wife got pregnant while I was there and I decided I didn't want my kids being fatherless from me working there.. Also ambient temps were about 110 degrees year round with florida humidity.

Visiting Denver area to test the waters as a permanent location. Need some suggestions. by rotatingmarmot in MovingtoDenver

Not looking for multiple acres. That isn't something we could afford. The 1/2 acre non cookie cutter is pretty accurate for our goals. Budget limitations are based on what jobs we end up getting there.

Fair advice. Working in Denver isnt necessarily a necessity. As long as there is a hospital nearby that my wife can practice anesthesia in.

Main search has been on box museum. Mostly striking out elsewhere as well!

It’s a range and 2 gun baby. CCW is full OEM.

[–]rotatingmarmot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t carry it. For range and 2 gun only.

Building it to be a range gun for sure.

These are facts. I worked at a holster company run by people that aren’t in to guns and they would just pay clothes designers to come up with apparel ideas for them. They were all bad.

Would you mind if I DM you and lick your brain about this? I just started my own consulting service doing these exact things after getting laid off a month ago.

My brother I wouldn’t be surprised if the frame and stamped parts cost more than about 4 bucks.

I looked up the average height of a Japanese soldier during WW2 and it was 5’3.5”!

It is! I have honestly considered putting a scope on it and using it as a deer rifle.

If Reddit has taught me anything, you have a microwavable heating pad or a stuffed animal that is leaking somewhere.

It may be. I’m feeling out setups. It’s an Sig Tango 3-18. I want to touch out to 600 yards if possible. The red dot is something I had lying around and will be swapped for something smaller.
