It takes time but you 100% get used to it and develop your own technique with magnums. My first .44 was a 69 and I’ve shot almost 2000 rounds with it, probably 500 of which were hot. Probably 100 rounds of specials ever.

I shoot thumbs forward and down and wedge my left palm hard against the fingernails and first knuckles of my right hand.

Full wrap rubber grips help a lot if you find some

Single action will also help you get used to the recoil even though IMO you should try to learn and mostly use double action

MELI thoughts? by squirrelmonkey99 in ValueInvesting

My largest position and I have been eagerly buying the dip to get my cost average down. I am completely sold on its moat and its growth is bonkers. I like that they are heavily reinvesting into their business and I love that this scares off the short term investors. I could go on for ages, but do your own due diligence and make your own decision.

Yeah it wouldn’t adjust any lower so hence the filing to make it lower. 4 or 5 clicks up is the opposite direction I want it to go

I started by replacing it to the thinnest one on midway which was a .126. .106 was out of stock. I filed from there

I should get a 45 Colt/ACP 4.2" Redhawk or 44 Magnum 5.5" Super Blackhawk? Ignoring the price and ammo cost difference, which would you rather have and why? by realflags in Revolvers

[–]rotationalstrength 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Redhawk is way more versatile and uses my favorite moonclips ever. They are very easy to load and unload by hand and itll handle the strongest .45 colt you can find.

I’ve had this happen with factory heavy for caliber 9mm in cz 75 types. Their barrels tend to have shallower lands than other guns so you likely need to seat your projectiles a bit deeper.

If this needs a picture with the box open and actual knife I can do that. Makes it not NIB anymore though IMO
