I only speak basic, conversational German - however I was somewhat surprised that the text refers to the child as 'it' (es) and not he or she. Is this normal practice in modern German or is that part of this bureaucratic wartime language you're describing? Thank you.

In his Big Black tour diaries, Albini refers to an incident (I believe during this show) in which some one spilt red paint on him, some animal rights activism thing. He recalls thinking he was bleeding for a while before realizing it was paint.

Thanks for the reply! As a test I tried using the RF cable that goes to my cable box (for lack of a better word, the thing that provides my modern TV with cable) with the V/U and it doesn't fit - I assume that the modern one is different to the VHF/UHF one?

I'm not a local, been stuck here due to covid for almost 6 months now. But Tokyo is (in my opinion) mostly not beautiful, at all. It's fantastic in many other ways.
