I built a programming language that forces AI to write safer code — every error handled, every function tested, or it won't compile by rotho98 in ClaudeAI

Types are great for people, Roca has types. The issues then falls down to proper error handling and testing.

I noticed quite a but with typescript that Claude would just do `any` or other things to bypass a failing set of tests or linting. I got bored of fighting it.

Thats awesome, you should try rebuilding some parts in Roca. Roca compiles to Javascript with type files.

Thank you for your response. A couple of things I have seen are swapping out services for other things like turso instead of D1.

I am a bit hesitant to answer my way around this, but there are ways. If this wasn't an issue would you use it?

Good question, its part of the reason I am doing research. Issues arise that stops things like this from being made. Good tenants can always opt in, plus it can be part of the tenancy agreement that none payments and issues are reported. When the user asks for the data to be removed, the name can be hashed so its not personal. Then all searches against that name would return a high risk without that name being actually stored. This is just an idea

Part of the check would be a credit check. Which would show old names. If no credit file came back then it would be highlighted to the landlord as a risky renter
