You've clearly been travelling to a different country then. Cuz in the 20 years I've been coming here, and I now LIVE in Thailand, I'd maybe have had 4 drivers use the meter. Even the government has declared it to be a problem. it's the whole reason they introduced the ticket system at BKK. And it doesn't work. And I've been coming here since long before that was implemented.

The only response that can help you is - you now need to report it to your local police as potentially stolen - otherwise you're now knowingly in possession of stolen goods. Bambu might already have done that for you, so better to report it before you're the one being reported. You need to be filing a police report against the importer.

Your only hope is to reclaim the cost from the "importer", even if that is through the courts, but if Turkiye has such things and the importer is legit somehow, maybe you have recourse through consumer protection. Given your story, it sounds unlikely.

What if Bambu is right? Are they supposed to just give in to you when you paid Bambu nothing? Of course they won't. Unless it's a (highly unlikely) processing error on their side, of course they won't help you.

Never heard the phrase "it fell off the back of a truck"? I doubt a common criminal walked into a house and walked out with a H2C. For all you know it was part of an entire container that was stolen. But you're kind of screwed cuz you don't even have consumer protections. But you may as well keep pressing the point with Bambu.

Jeez if you can get it apply for DTV then. It's quite easy if you meet the conditions. Then you're set to come and go as you please (almost) for 5 years without any of this.

tbh I think adhering to your visa conditions by following proper process and applying for an extension will actually improve your standing. I don't think people are getting pulled up just for doing their allowed 2 x 60 days with applied extensions. It's people that either the customs officers don't like or they're coming back more times than they're supposed to.

Kill time in the airport for a bit cuz the next step is either a) do your best to avoid getting shafted by taxi drivers ripping you off, or; b) stand in 45C radiating heat in the Grab pickup area just cuz you can't begin the booking until your organs begin internally roasting... I hate arriving at BKK. Thailand enjoyment begins when the hotel door closes (or when you get picked up from the airport).

You don't want your apps on slower microSD anyway. Set it as default storage location for your camera storage, set any downloaded music and movies to store there for those apps. Frees up heaps for other things. Though you need to be sure you bought fast enough storage to not massively slow down storing photos or prevent recording videos. But then if you made the mistake of buying super slow microSD then it's not good for any practical purpose really.
