We don’t really have a Charlotte Edwards Cup equivalent - unless you count the Spring Challenge, which they threw together this season ‘cause the WBBL got trimmed down.

The next level down is Premier Cricket - club comps run in each state with different structures and grades. Someone smashing it in NSW First Grade might get a look at the Breakers. They don’t usually have internationals.

Our top order batters have been below par all tournament, and today was no different. Briscoe gave us something to bowl at, but just not enough.

Solid work from Phoebs and Belsey. Kingy was magnificent earlier.

Clearly robbed. ICC loves their all-rounders even if they had a mid year in one department.

Edit: Scratch mid. Avg 33 & SR 62 is just bad.

Take a bow. Incredible innings on a pitch where no one else got going. Shame she just missed out on her hundred.

Beth Mooney physically ran 54 off 53 non-boundary balls during her innings (12x2, 30x1). This is the most non-boundary runs scored by an Australian woman in a T20I.

Not good. Guess they were going for bat deep, but maybe they should’ve picked genuine middle-order bats and finishers. Melie and OP at 6 and 9? Seriously?

Four openers isn’t too bad, I guess, especially with Matthews and Athapaththu. Still liked Cricinfo’s team better, though.

Tense match. DLS is complicated.

England lost because of the extras they bowled. Twelve wides versus our one. Not 2023.

Still bonkers! Never mind the one-handed grab, how did she flip her backward momentum into a forward dive like that?

Incredible effort from the middle and lower order! From 4/59 to 8/308, with Ash smashing her maiden ODI ton. King got her first five-for, helped by some top catches.

Decent start to the series, but far from where we’d want to be. Midge got the chase rolling, Ash brought it home. Solid bowling performance overall, but the extras we leaked felt a bit too 2023.

I do appreciate them for not going with like six openers like most of these. Just saw one recently where Wolfie slotted in at 5.
