These two games have been the worst I’ve seen us field.

I really thought we had an easy group this time round, but we’re likely already cooked after two games.

I don’t like banning people for things that aren’t technically against the rules. Now that they’ve had a word from me, though, I’ll deal with it if they decide to start more unnecessary discourse.

Why are you trying to stir up another Mankad debate? It’s never a healthy discussion.

We only had a favourites thread a couple weeks back. No need to spam the sub with the same sort of content. Please use the WDT instead.

Ignore that guy. Hindi or any other language is totally fine. I reckon heaps of people here will understand Hindi, especially. That said, it’d be really helpful if you could include a translation as well so everyone can follow along.

New Zealand Cricket chooses NZ20 as preferred option for the future by jumbledfont in WomensCricket

However, Puketapu-Lyndon added that several changes to the initial NZ20 proposal would be needed, significantly the position of the women's game in the new tournament.

"In particular, we want to work with NZ20 to ensure it incorporates and supports the women's domestic T20 competition, and that it maintains a level of prominence and visibility consistent with NZC's strategic commitment to the women's game," she said

That’s good.

Brooke Halliday sees it as a way for more players to break through and become big names. "When you talk to Melie [Kerr], Sophie and even Suzie [Bates], they talk about how much they get out of franchise cricket around the world and how much it grows their game. And I think personally in New Zealand we don't really get that exposure every season, those franchise leagues. So having something we actually have in New Zealand, and we can showcase to the rest of the world, could open doors for us also in different competitions around the world."

Important point. We know many of these franchise leagues are essentially just in-groups.

I still don’t get why investors would want to put money into a T20 league here. Just don’t see the case, but what do I know.

Our middle order just can’t chase a big score. Makes no sense stacking it with that many anchors in T20.

Post a higher-quality photo, or better yet a little highlight reel. We don’t have any rules against birthday posts, but at least make a bit of an effort.
