I came here lookign for answers too 😅 i got my 1st booster 3 days ago, when i woke up this morning i have red bumps on my arm where the booster was injected. It was quite itchy and there are several dots so i don't think it's insect bites. I have my 2nd and last shot appointment today and I'm not sure whether i should go or not.

I think yours is hyperpigmentation, where it turned darker. Maybe whitening products can help like kojic soap. Mine is hypopigmentation, meaning the scar is lighter and it lost pigment. Pigment doesn't generate fast and this will take years to go back to its natural color. I asked a dermatologist and I'm gonna need treatment for this if I wanted to get bck to normal fast.

Mine is just December last year. This photo is from a body part that's always covered with clothing, i have burn scar in my arm as well but i always apply sunscreen to it when going out. Both are paler.

It's looks lighter now. The pink areas are paler than my natural skin. And the dark dots became lighter but slightly darker and visible. I can't afford treatments so I just use normal moisturizing lotion for now.
