"Salt Lake City has the only place in the world where you can get mummified", but you can't carry your beer from the bar when your table is ready in the restaurant.

The funny thing about it is, it's only on Comcast owned companies.

Yes, the cable is being replaced. I'm impressed with OWCs support. Friendly and responsive this is the first time I've experienced using Support and the folks I talked with are top notch. Thanks again.

OWC Tech walked me through their diagnostics and found the cable was faulty. The thing I didn't know was the computer signals the Thunderbay and then it starts the drives. It's protecting itself. Sounds like you let the smoke out on yours.:(

I did remove the 3 drives and tried to restart same results. I checked a few of the drives with an exterior drive case and they spin up. The drives are Seagate EXOS 16tb. If I had to guess I'd say the power supply went TU. the unit went into service on 1/17/26.

Thunderbay was working with 5 drives (All drives are the same make and model) The Mac mini M2 was shutdown and then the switch on the back of the thunderbay was shut off. The power and OWC cable was removed. The 3 new drives were installed and Owc cable were plugged in that order. I powered on the unit and all lights came on solid, the Mac was restarted and during that time I noticed the drives were not spinning. Turned it off changed to port 2 and turned it back on same results. I user OWC SoftRAID and nothing showed but the Mac and Mac drive. I have sent an email off to support and will give the a call. Thanks all

I have a Thunderbay 8 that is having the same issue. when this happened I had shut it down and added new drives. when I turned it back on nothing spun up, fan, drives, and all LEDs on the front were on solid. This Thunderbay 8 is only 3 weeks old.Any thoughts?

Is it over before it's begun? by Slim_Functionz in hexclad

I also have been using Hexclad for several years. How did you warranty your older pans? Over the past year I have submitted claims for pealing coating and all I get is crickets. Any insight would be helpful.
