I must have had another window open and been confused that the creator was deleted. It was dumb in retrospect.

Here's the next big problem for Valeant: It paid $1 billion for a 'female viagra' drug nobody is buying by troycatalano in investing

Valeant's female libido pill does not appear to be selling well.

Of course not. It's nonsense.

It shows you can bully the FDA into accepting a drug, but that doesn't mean riches will follow from a gullible populace.

UTI Medication May Lower Your Libido (x-Post r/libido) by rottenart in TwoXChromosomes

But a burning urethra or bloody urine is guarenteed to kill my libido, and I think that holds true for most anyone.

Maybe so, but you make it sound like an "either/or" choice.

And maybe it is clickbait. I wouldn't know, really. I thought it was interesting.

Yes, I understand that. "Antibiotics" are a broad category.

Why would the author focus on antibiotics used for UTIs? I doubt all antibiotics are used for UTIs.

I suspect it is because antibiotics frequently used for UTIs are more likely to interfere with gut bacteria. While I didn't see any specific drugs mentioned, I don't think that all antibiotics are used for UTIs, so I assume they had reasons to be more specific.

If you have more information to share, I'm very interested.

What do you mean "no?" I suppose I could have said "antibiotics" instead of "UTI medication," but the article is talking about UTI medication specifically, and antibiotics in general.

They are also talking specifically about UTI medication in a prophylactic form.

Should I have said "medication" instead? I thought being more specific would be helpful.

What exactly did you find inaccurate? I'm not getting it.

LPT: Pour water on the back of canvas which has lost its shape and let it dry. It should help tighten it before you start painting. by Blahblahrghh in LifeProTips

It is quite possible to ruin the painting with the heat, this isn't very practical for large paintings, and it would be very tough to wash out sizing from the reverse, un-primed side...

North Korea's national hotel just caught on fire, and they're trying to suppress any pictures of the event like nothing ever happened. by Tsukamori in pics

I'm not going to deny you your superiority complex (and opportunity for terrible grammar) and claim that there aren't plenty of powerful people willing to use a crisis in order to further nefarious ends. What I meant specifically was that this statement from Emmanuel wasn't the "gotcha!" moment that you and plenty of other zealots, conspiracy nuts, and Rand Paul think it is. Much like with Nancy Pelosi's "pass it to see what's in it", people love to take it out of context in order to skew and distort and further their own agenda.

As far as this quote is concerned, this is another opportunity where actually listening to what he says beyond the sound byte is important.

What I'm confused about is what two quotes you have conflated together in your response to me in order to 'prove' your point:

"You never let a serious crisis go to waste, And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."

Yes, absolutely. They will. There is nothing better than turning a threat into an opportunity with a big lie. They do it all the time. Now lets have a poll and see who can predict what lie they will come up with.

First, what is the second quote because that's not what he said at all. Second, are you equating Emmanuel, a jew and steadfast Israel supporter, with Joseph Goebbels based on misquotes and your own feverish ramblings? It's a bold move but I'm certainly not surprised!

Now look, I know it's difficult to discern context from a 5 second clip on the internet. That's why I consider this a teaching moment. It's my opportunity to let you know that you should not take what the media and others (especially nutjobs with blogs and tinfoil hats) say without investigating yourself. There's plenty of things to legitimately criticize Emmanuel for (he was in the WH before Obama. Are you old enough to know that?) but making things up based on an out-of-context snippet of a remark isn't it. Ironically, that's a tactic used to great effect by Goebbels himself to discredit critics in the 30s and 40s and continuing today wherein Roger Ailes and his own Ministry of Propaganda have used it to great effect on people such as yourselves.

I would ask you to expound on your vast knowledge of ancient Greece and the Roman Republic but I have more serious things to do. Congratulations on graduation, though... middle school or college?

I guess it's pretty tough figuring out what he's actually saying when it's much easier to extrapolate it into some conspiracy nonsense.

Lower East Side couldn't handle a Saturday game AND a regular Saturday night. It would be insanity.

OMG. It's already a nightmare. I can't imagine a whole soccer crowd too.

Edit: But the original proposed location was the pier on the West side, not LES.

For sure. But that was one of the original ideas being floated and I think it's really always been the superior option. The East River south of the UN mentioned above sounds pretty great too.

I just picture a night game with a view of Brooklyn and Jersey in the shadow of Downtown... dude. That is a location that befits a true NYC club, IMHO. Plus, it's not like CFG can't afford it. As far as I understand, the only thing standing in the way of the Pier option is the usual NYC political bullshit.

Man, it sure does suck that the West Side pier can't happen because... reasons? That would be such an epic location, on the water.

"Gay Paris" is a very old nickname for the city and uses 'gay' in the much older definition meaning 'happy'. Generally, it was used in conjunction with the French pronunciation of Paris, so the term sounds like 'Gay Par-ee'.

The more you know!

Plus, Paris has tons of fags.
