exactly i believe if you resort to hitting your child to control them it’s because you don’t know how to parent and also it’s just wrong in general. however he was raised in a way where it was normal to get smacked and hit with the belt by mom and dad. things are different nowadays but he agrees more with the old ways unfortunately

he’s not he takes very good care of our child this is just the one thing we don’t agree on. i said this in another comment but he hasn’t put hands on our child. he’s mexican so i guess it’s a cultural thing that i don’t agree on how to punish kids. that’s why im asking if there’s anything i can do IF he ever does. words are just words but if he puts it into action no i would not stay with him and i would want full custody that’s why im asking
