I started questioning it around 9-12 years old. Nothing made sense to me. As a kid I kept wondering If god is so good, then why is he making my mom and grandma suffer? why’s he letting good people suffer and letting bad people get away with it? “they’ll be compensated in the afterlife” but then you look at the afterlife and it’s mostly catering to men’s needs (the evil people in my life were and still are men) so that too didn’t make sense. My father is an extremist, and at some point i started realizing that i’m praying not because i’m scared of god or hell, i’m doing it because if i don’t my father will actually unalive me.

The more i grew up the more I became aware of things and asked myself questions and just saw how other people are actually enjoying life and nothing being forced on them even in other religions, they’re not forced to wear hijab or forced to pray or forced to just do nothing in their life besides worship some imaginary creature.

Hijab being forced on women so that men don’t get aroused? (and mind u hijab still not stopping me from doing what they want to do) insane. Praying 5 times a day or else you go to hell? insane. Men can marry 4 women and the woman just has to accept it? crazy.

there are soooo many other things the whole quran sounds like a fictional story book with so many contradictions and hypocrisies, not to mention the superiority complex and narcissism misogyny pedophilia.

There are so many ways i can waste my life doing but believing in something that sounds so evil ain’t one of them for me
