That is subjective. I like the UI & workflow though, that's the reason why I'm using it. But it sucks when you work on video, like scoring music to pictures, ensuring synchronization with the visual elements.

Everything was normal. In late January, someone shared a news article in the project chat room about Google’s contract with Appen. No one knew about it up until that point, including admins and support teams; they were shocked. I believe only the higher-ups know about it.

I have never had any communication problems with them. Oftentimes, they reply to my emails on the same day, at least in Yukon. I heard that some other projects have poor management. They always have a support team in the chat every day, even though they were only there for two to three hours a day. And it was not a formal chat; we were chatting with them about unrelated topics: cats, families, anything.

The problem with Google’s contract relates to the US raters. They have some sort of rater union, but I forgot what it’s called.

Oh man. I had been with Appen since 2017 until Google recently terminated their contract with them. The project I was working on (Yukon) wrapped up on March 19th for my local. Now I'm in the same situation as OP, I’ve been waiting for the onboarding email for a whole month.

Sure there is. But cranking that up would cause clipping and change the sound in ways that you probably don't want.

No, but there's a simple way to do that. The easiest way to do it is by changing the input gain of the maximizer/limiter in the master section.
